Madison St.\, Pulaski\, Tenn.). \nDolly Day activities include: \n\nSecond Street Coffee House pop-up tent\n\n7:30鈥�10 a.m.\, Student Life House\n\n\nServing hot coffee\, cold brews\, matcha and Dolly-inspired beverages\n\n\nImagination Library Donation Booth\, in partnership with the Giles County Chamber of Commerce\n\n7:30 a.m.鈥�12:30 p.m.\, Student Life House\n\n\nAccepting cash\, check\, Venmo or PayPal donation\nThe non-profit program was launched by Parton to inspire young children to read by providing free books each month to children from birth to age five.\n\n\nChalk the Walk\n\n10 a.m.鈥�12:30 p.m.\, W. Madison St.\n\n\nCommunity members will be provided with pink chalk and encouraged to draw butterflies\, their favorite Parton quote or anything else to help honor her legacy\n\n\nChick-fil-A pop-up tent\n\n10 a.m.鈥�12:30 p.m. or until sold out\, Campus Green\n\n\nSelling chicken sandwiches\, chips and more\nPresale purchases will be available\, along with on-site purchases\n\n\n\n果冻影院 encourages all campus and community members to gather and celebrate the lasting memory and legacy of Dolly Parton.

DESCRIPTION:Y/A novelist J. Kasper Kramer\, author of the recent Serpent on the Mountain\, will deliver a public lecture\, reading\, and book signing on Monday evening\, September 28\, in the Gault Fine Arts Recital Hall at 6:00 p.m. See Bio below. Jessica Miller\, writing under the name J. Kasper Kramer\, is the critically-acclaimed author of the historical novels Serpent on the Mountain\, The Story That Cannot Be Told\, The List of Unspeakable Fears\, and Eyes on the Sky. Her books have been translated into multiple languages and received numerous honors and awards\, including the Georgia Children鈥檚 Book Award and the inaugural Children鈥檚 Literature Artist Fellowship from the Tennessee Arts Commission. Originally from Nashville\, Kramer was an early recipient of the Michael and Barbara Barton Scholarship and graduated from Martin Methodist/果冻影院 in 2009. She began her career while living abroad in Japan\, but now lives in Chattanooga with her husband\, daughter\, and too many pets.
